Founded in 2021, Turath was born from a desire to share the rich cultural heritage of the Middle East with Canada, blending tradition with modernity. Our focus is on incorporating timeless cultural designs—such as Tatreez embroidery, Keffiyehs, scarves, abayas, and vests—into contemporary fashion. The result is a unique fusion that resonates with both the community and a wider audience.

In 2024, our success allowed us to expand with the launch of our T-shirt line, Zir Ziyadeh. This new line, with the tagline “Embroidered Resistance,” specifically highlights Palestinian culture through bold, embroidered apparel. Zir Ziyadeh is more than just clothing; it’s a statement that fosters awareness and connection to the Palestinian cause and culture, making it both stylish and meaningful.

This business has become highly sought-after brands, participating in over 10 markets. The positive reception has been overwhelming, with continuous invitations from market organizers for us to return.
